Abdullah Jamal
Chief Executive Officer
Abdullah is a seasoned real estate development and project management professional with over a decade of experience in large-scale mixed-use projects. As CEO of OCTA Development, he leads a dynamic team blending young talent and industry veterans. Formerly Development Director at SEERA Group, he spearheaded the launch of Choice Hotels in Saudi Arabia, with six hotels initiated and three operational by early 2021. Abdullah has played key roles in major developments like Jabal Omar and collaborates with government entities on mid-market hotel projects. He holds a certification from Rice Business School and a BBA (Hons) from Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University.
Sahimi Saaidi
Senior Development Advisor
Sahimi is a veteran in real estate development, project management, and engineering consultancy with 35 years of experience, including over 16 years in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as Senior Development Advisor at OCTA Development. Previously, he held key roles at SEERA Group and EQUINOX Hospitality, advising on major projects like King Abdul Aziz Road (KAAR) and THAKHER City in Makkah. He also led initiatives to expand Clarion and Comfort hotels across Saudi cities. Earlier, Sahimi was Deputy Development Director at Jabal Omar Development Company and a Senior Project Manager at KLCC Projeks in Malaysia. He holds certifications from Rice University and PMI, an MBA from the University of Leicester, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisiana.
Hasnan Saaidin
Senior Project Advisor
Hasnan Saaidin is a seasoned project and development management professional with over three decades of experience across Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. He began his career with Newcastle City Architects before taking on key roles at KLCC Project Management, where he contributed to landmark projects like the PETRONAS Twin Towers and Jabal Omar Development in Makkah. Hasnan later led developments in Putrajaya and Selangor, including retail malls and mid-market housing. His international experience includes time with Equinox Hospitality in Jeddah and advisory roles with construction and industrial development firms. Currently, he serves as Senior Project Advisor at OCTA Development. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University, a Diploma in Management from the Malaysian Institute of Management, and is a certified Project Management Professional (APM UK).
Ahmed Khairy
Senior Project Architect
Ahmed Khairy is a respected figure in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality industry, known for his expertise in interior design and hotel fit-out. As Senior Project Architect at OCTA Development, he plays a key role in the Rua Al-Madinah Project, delivering large-scale hospitality facilities near Masjid al-Nabawi. Previously, he led the execution of high-profile hotel projects at Jabal Omar, including Hilton Suites, Hyatt Regency, Conrad, Marriott, and Sheraton, coordinating renowned interior design firms like Wilson Associates and Hersch Bedner. Ahmed also helped establish design standards for Choice Hotels in Saudi Arabia with Equinox Hospitality. He has extensive experience in FF\&E procurement and fit-out management and holds a BSc in Interior Design and Interior Architecture from Helwan University, Egypt.
